Nursing Systems Administration (NSA)

Graduates of the NSA sequence are prepared to function at executive levels as innovative, collaborative leaders within changing health care environments. This 30 credit hour sequence includes 18 hours of specialty courses covering leadership; organizational behavior; roles and trends in health care delivery systems; financial resource and quality management; outcome analysis; legal, ethical and regulatory experts; and a Capstone practicum course related to roles and responsibilities of the nurse executive. Graduates of the NSA sequence are eligible to take the exam for certification in Nursing Administration, Advanced (CNAA) offered through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
