Undergraduate Advising

Please follow the instructions below, along with the general advising information, to prepare for your advising session.

Early admission

All Freshman Early Admission Students are advised by University College academic advisors until they COMPLETE 24 credit hours. Students with greater than 24 completed credit hours are advised by the nursing college. Information relating to scheduling academic advising sessions with a nursing advisor will be provided to students via e-mail after 24 credit hours have been earned.

Prelicensure

  • Transfer Students are encouraged to work with their current academic advisor at the college at which they are attending.
  • All students currently enrolled in the Prelicensure Sequence are advised by Mennonite College of Nursing academic advisors. Students are expected to attend required advising meetings prior to every registration period. All students, with the exception of Second Bachelor's students will not be allowed to attend advising sessions without their academic progress summaries.

RN to BSN

All RNs are advised by Mennonite College of Nursing acade mic advisors upon acceptance into the RN/BSN Sequence. Students are expected to meet with their advisor prior to every registration period.
