Prelicensure
Between September 1st and January 15th, the fall before anticipated enrollment:
Students may be admitted to the Prelicensure Nursing Program via the freshman Early Admission Program or beginning September 1st for admission consideration into the Nursing Program the following fall. Refer to Undergraduate Admission Requirements.
RN-BSN Applicants
- Students need to complete both an Illinois State University admission application and a Mennonite College of Nursing admission application, with reference form.
- Students should submit an application to Illinois State between September 1st thru January 15th during the Fall semester that proceeds anticipated enrollment in the BSN sequence (i.e. students planning on transferring to Illinois State in the Fall of 2007, may fill out an application for Illinois State University beginning September 1, 2006). RNs are encouraged to apply to Illinois State as early as possible as this will expedite the review of transcripts necessary for acceptance into the Nursing Program.
- Students may obtain an Illinois State University application for admission by downloading an application from www.admissions.ilstu.edu, applying on-line, or by picking up an application at the Illinois State University's Admissions Office located in Hovey Hall.
- Current registered nurses may apply by downloading this application (acrobat file) and downloading the current reference form.
- Applications received prior to January 15th for admission consideration the following Fall will receive preferential admission review over those received at a later date. Students will receive feedback regarding their admission status by March 15th.
