Have earned an Associates Degree in Arts or Science with all Mennonite College of Nursing prerequisite courses completed (at the time of admission, and not at the time of application).Transfer students may obtain an Illinois State University application for admission by downloading an application from www.IllinoisState.edu, applying on-line or picking up an application at Illinois State University's Admissions Office located in Hovey Hall.

Although there is no minimum GPA required for application, only those students with competitive applications will be considered for admission. In Fall 2007, the average GPA of the admitted cohort was a 3.68.
The Mennonite College of Nursing Prelicensure Program only accepts students for fall admission. There is no spring admission into this program.
Mennonite College of Nursing Prelicensure applications are accepted beginning September 1 for admission consideration into the nursing program the following fall. Applications received prior to January 15 for admission consideration the following fall will receive preferential admission review. Student will receive feedback regarding their admission status by March 15th.
Students without a previous Bachelor's Degree are also encouraged to complete a global studies course prior to beginning the Nursing Program. See "graduation requirements" in the Illinois State catalogue for specific information relating to this global studies requirement.
